52 Q week 5

52 Q

how do I feel today?

my seedlings are growing!!

I love spring! I'm already seeing how the extended daylight and warm weather effects peoples' moods. Or maybe its because Easter is coming up...

I can't wait to hide eggs for Clarence's niece Corinne! The other evening she said, "na-na" which translates to "night-night," and then she tried to cover me with her blanket. (she's almost 2)

Hey mom, I've never planted a container vegetable garden, so this will be an interesting experiment. Maybe, for once I can bring vegetables to your house instead of the other way around. ;)

my first thank you tag

this little one is going on a gift basket

I forgot which website had the idea for painting and outlining letters, but I used that technique for this tag.

scraplift baby shower card

oh oh...I scraplifted!

I was invited to a baby shower and to save money, I made a card and matching gift tag. here is the baby girl shower greeting card

Some of the flowers were handmade with some pixie pink fun flock. I made my own pink buttons by using old ones and added pink embossing powder on top (what a big mess). Then I cut out the birds and heart, machine stitched and inked the paper. It was quite a messy production! I won't even show you my desk....its scary.

here it is with the pull out tag and open door

I made a matching tag

Here is the original card, which is a million times better than mine, but hey, I tried!

chocolate tag

I forgot that I started this tag a year ago, but never finished it. Here it is!

I'm a little behind with my 52Q challenge. I need to catch up!

my wedding favors

Our May 30th wedding is quickly approaching, so I've been busy with trying on dresses and making little favors to hand out. Here is one sample that still needs ribbon and some type of candy:

This acetate box idea comes from Splitcoaststampers. They are the greatest resource for paper craft tutorials, so check them out if you're curious!
